What is meant by the term open hardware is the sharing of information with the public, with the purpose to collaborate in the process of it.
The requirements for taking part in an open hardware is to always name and credit all the persons involved in the project or work.
The main barriers preventing this movement from becoming the "norm" are:
the government because they might ask for the profit and not give credit to the actual owner.

What advantages do social media have over traditional media (TV, radio and print) for spreading a message quickly?
It is widely used. It is quick and easy to transmit and share information, there is a larger level of trust, and people are urged to vote by their family, friends and their community. Also since people have become more activists, they spread the information, making it known worldwide.
What are memes, and why can they be important?
Memes are ideas or symbols, which are taken to be spread quickly. They can be important because it can spread trough different media channels, and become viral trough Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Can you give any other examples of how social media has played an important role in effected a huge change?
Kony 2012 campaign, it made people from all over the world pay money and make donations. The video got spread really quickly trough Facebook and twitter because it became viral, because of the techniques used, this made the people become more involved with the organization.

Marc's real name is Omer Gershon and he is an Israel actor even though he claimed himself to be an American gay rights activist. He participated in Israel hoax campaign that was created in order to support Israel government's blockade of Gaza.

The Israel government are trying to pull as many people on their side as they can using this video.
3. Is the video objective? The video is not objective, because the Israel government is behind this, meaning they could have altered or biased some information in order for us to support them.
